Summer Dreams Farm specializes in fresh cut dahlias, picked to order. Our season starts beginning of August and lasts until the end of September.

When you order from Summer Dreams Farm you can expect nothing less than the best quality dahlias saving you time and money. How do we do this?

 
 

  • We refuse to sell flowers that do not meet our standard. Those flowers might only have a small defect, but they are removed and thrown away.

  • Flowers are only picked at the peak of freshness; you wont have to worry about open centers, wilt, or dahlias that were picked before their prime not opening.

  • We only pick to order which means your flowers will be picked the day before you need them so they will still look perfect for your client or event.

  • All of our flowers come with clean stems. This saves you time in your arrangements, protects blooms from being damaged, and keeps your flowers fresh longer.

  • Once picked your flowers are in treated water within 10 minutes and the cooler within 30 minutes. This keeps our flowers as fresh as possible.

 

How to Order

For farm pickups, we require a minimum order of $300.

We currently offer two ways to order: by the stem or in mixed buckets (described below). All orders need to be placed through the button below or by clicking this link.

Things to keep in mind:
We ask you place orders a minimum of one week prior to your expected delivery. We offer our flowers on a first come first serve basis cannot guarantee availability of an individual variety but we are happy to suggest an alternative. Our standard stem length is approximately 12" but if you need longer, let us know and we will try to accommodate. Our farm is at the mercy of mother nature and our season generally lasts from early August to late September but can vary.

 

Pickup, Delivery, and Shipping

At this time we do not ship our flowers; our flowers are available for pick up on the farm. For those who are not able to pick up our flowers there are a couple options. Every Saturday in August and September we sell our flowers to the public at the Downtown Rochester Farmers' Market. Also you can order our dahlias and have them delivered through our partners at Mayesh Detroit and DWF Flint Wholesale Florists. When ordering with Mayesh or DWF, make sure you request Summer Dreams Farm dahlias.

 

By the Stem

Orders by the stem allow you to pick exactly what you want for your special event! You can let us know what color and size you are interested in or if you are looking for a specific flower, you can explore our dahlia store for a current listing of varieties by color and size. Please note that if the specific flower requested is not available, we reserve the right provide a similar alternative.

By the stem Pricing

  • Small: $2.50 / stem

  • Medium: $3.00 / stem

  • Large: $4.00 / stem

Farmer's Choice

Summer Dreams Farm's Farmer's Choice package offers you premium flowers for a great value. Farmer's Choice consists of 30 stems from our collection of small and medium dahlias. Please note that Farmer's Choice must be ordered in multiples of 30 stems. Special requests for colors and sizes are not available when ordering this way. Generally this collection will be a mix of 2 or 3 varieties when ordering for every 60 stems purchased.
